Hitachi delivers first ZW370-5A wheeled loader in the UAE

HMEC hands over keys of region’s inaugural unit of 32-ton model to Hitachi dealer Middle East Crane Equipment Trading
Hitachi Construction Machinery Middle East (HMEC) has delivered the first unit of its new ZW370-5A wheeled loader to Middle East Crane Equipment Trading (MECET) its dealer in the UAE.
A handover ceremony was held recently at HMEC’s premises in Dubai Jebel Ali Free Zone, where Manabu Arami, President, HMEC, presented the symbolic large key of the inaugural unit in the region of the ZW370-5A to Wim Aernouts, Managing Director of MECET.
According to Hitachi, the new Hitachi ZW370-5A wheeled loader “has been designed with one aim in mind: empowering your vision”, and the model offers optimum performance with enhanced controllability.
“Productivity, comfort, advanced technology, environmental performance and maintenance, it delivers on all levels. It not only meets our customers’ expectations of high-quality, reliable machines, but also provides operators with a safer working environment, a comfortable cab with easy-to-use controls, and overall, a machine that responds quickly and precisely,” said Piet van Bakergem, General Manager, HMEC.
In terms of specifications the highlights of the Hitachi ZW370-5A are an engine that develops 300kW (402hp) of power and a 5.0m3-1.9 ISO Heaped V-shaped rock bucket (BOT, Pin type). The wheeled loader has an operating weight of 31,750-32,570kg and is shod with Bridgestone’s heavy-duty 29.5R25-L3-VJT tyres.
Hitachi added that to ensure optimum jobs-site availability of the new ZW370-5A, it has incorporated easy maintenance features into the design. The manufacturer also offers the flexible Hitachi Support Chain after-sales programme to customers who wish to further enhance its uptime and protect their investment.
